  5. The PREMIS Spoils & Promotion system handles processing of payments to
  6. retailers or wholesalers for promotional, damaged, spoiled, or outdated
  7. products, and invoices the principal for subsequent reimbursement to the
  8. broker. It also processes promotion payments which are paid at retail and
  9. wholesale. This system has been designed as a cost-saver in obtaining
  10. reimbursement information using a handheld Telxon computer. The system can
  11. either print a check for the retail customer or the salesperson or simply
  12. record the credit. The spoils/promotion system keeps track of each item for
  13. each customer, the reason for the return and the dollar value, and accumulates
  14. them to create a detail invoice for each principal. A bill back register is
  15. provided to help manage outstanding funds.
